In 2022, the average import price for fish; edible offal, fish heads, tails and mawses amounted to $10,197 per ton, increasing by 32% against the previous year. From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hong Kong SAR (+13.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
