In January 2024, the average import price for ethylene polymers; waste, parings and scraps amounted to $260 per ton, with a decrease of -1.5% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a slight downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 8% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $330 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to January 2024, import prices failed to regain momentum.
