The average export price for ethylene polymers; waste, parings and scraps stood at $281 per ton in November 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 17% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $458 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($340 per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovenia ($186 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+53.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
