The average import price for embroidery; in the piece, in strips or in motifses stood at $46,321 per ton in September 2023, waning by -20.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a mild decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2023 an increase of 27% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $60,176 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($200K per ton), while the price for China ($20,531 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
