The average import price for electrical insulators of any materials stood at $0.6 per unit in 2022, surging by 1.5% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a slight shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 59% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $0.6 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($2.3 per unit), while the price for Pakistan ($0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2019 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($0.7 per unit), while the average price for exports to Libya ($0.3 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+8.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
