In 2022, the average import price for electric motors and generators amounted to $51 per unit, shrinking by -35.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a slight curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 39%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $99 per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($73 per unit), while the price for India ($11 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+16.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+40.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
