In October 2023, the average export price for electric generators amounted to $500 per unit, declining by -65.6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a precipitous curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 690% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $140K per unit in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to October 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was China ($77,834 per unit), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($32,540 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+5.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
