The average export price for crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates, prepared or preserveds stood at $5,555 per ton in October 2023, with a decrease of -9% against the previous month. Over the period from October 2022 to October 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The growth pace was the most rapid in September 2023 an increase of 22% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $6,106 per ton, and then fell in the following month.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($11,740 per ton), while the average price for exports to Norway ($3,349 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Greece (+4.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
