In July 2023, the average export price for crustacean preparations; shrimps and prawns, prepared or preserved, in airtight containerses amounted to $9,463 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 7.4% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $10,114 per ton. From April 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Canada ($11,133 per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia ($6,747 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
