In 2022, the average chromium oxides and hydroxides import price amounted to $3,834 per ton, standing approx. at the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a abrupt setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average import price increased by 6.6%. The import price peaked at $8,958 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
