In 2022, the average cereals; maize (corn), seed export price amounted to $2,760 per ton, surging by 1.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a noticeable expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 258%. The export price peaked at $2,803 per ton in 2020; afterwards, it flattened through to 2022.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($2,759 per ton), while the average price for exports to India amounted to $2,699 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to India (+6.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
