The average cereals; maize (corn), seed import price stood at $6,721 per ton in February 2022, declining by -23.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, enjoyed a strong expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2021 an increase of 109% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $10,236 per ton in November 2021; however, from December 2021 to February 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
