The average import price for cereals; maize (corn), other than seeds stood at $134 per ton in May 2023, falling by -32.9% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 33% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $227 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to May 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
