The average import price for cereal groats; meal and pelletses stood at $338 per ton in December 2021, reducing by -11% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated slight growth from December 2020 to December 2021: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.1% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $972 per ton. From February 2021 to December 2021, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Qatar ($1,462 per ton), while the average price for exports to Singapore totaled $593 per ton.
