In 2022, the average export price for cereal grains; rolled or flaked, of oatses amounted to $911 per ton, increasing by 8.2% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a mild decrease. The export price peaked at $1,033 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($1,346 per ton), while the average price for exports to Nigeria ($522 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average import price for cereal grains; rolled or flaked, of oatses amounted to $1,171 per ton, with a decrease of -4.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when the average import price increased by 31% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $1,310 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($1,590 per ton), while the price for the United Arab Emirates ($532 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+4.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Exports of Cereal Grains; Rolled or Flaked, of Oats in Sri Lanka
