The average import price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) stood at $1,031 per ton in June 2023, dropping by -4.2% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $1,076 per ton in May 2023, and then fell in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($1,575 per ton), while the price for Romania ($798 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($2,447 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($1,062 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
