Price for Cereal Flour; of Maize (Corn) in Brazil (FOB) - 2023

The average export price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) stood at $356 per ton in July 2023, which is down by -18.4% against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 117% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $827 per ton. From March 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($729 per ton), while the average price for exports to Democratic Republic of the Congo ($330 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
