In 2022, the average import price for cameras, photographic (excluding cinematographic); parts and accessorieses amounted to $6.1 per unit, dropping by -32.4% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a pronounced expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 82% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $9.5 per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($27 per unit), while the price for China ($4.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by South Korea (+14.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2013 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+30.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
