Price for Buttermilk and Buttermilk Powder in Poland (FOB) - 2023

The average buttermilk and buttermilk powder export price stood at $1,607 per ton in August 2023, waning by -3.9% against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 9.4% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,721 per ton. From May 2023 to August 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Sweden ($2,246 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania ($1,302 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Finland (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average buttermilk and buttermilk powder import price stood at $1,795 per ton in August 2023, with an increase of 6.5% against the previous month. Over the period from August 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 10% month-to-month. The import price peaked in August 2023.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($2,278 per ton), while the price for Austria ($1,183 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
