In 2022, the average brass tubes and pipes import price amounted to $2,692 per ton, declining by -21.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a deep reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when the average import price increased by 144%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $4,489 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
