The average import price for bed linen of other woven textiles and non-woven man-made fibres stood at $9,404 per ton in 2022, stabilizing at the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 48%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $10,991 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The export price peaked at $26,313 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In December 2023, the country with the highest price was New Zealand ($59,763 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands stood at $6,730 per ton.

From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to New Zealand (+8.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
