In July 2023, the average import price for anise, badian, fennel and coriander amounted to $2,042 per ton, shrinking by -24.2% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 74% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $2,694 per ton in June 2023, and then shrank notably in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Russia ($3,803 per ton), while the price for Argentina ($924 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+13.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
