In 2022, the average import price for anise, badian, fennel and coriander amounted to $1,495 per ton, approximately mirroring the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a mild contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 18%. The import price peaked at $1,692 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($1,513 per ton), while the price for India stood at $1,407 per ton.
