In 2022, the average import price for animal products; ossein and bones treated with acids amounted to $2,318 per ton, surging by 8.5% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, faced a abrupt curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 59% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 5.7 tons, and then contracted in the following year.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 287% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
