Price for Aluminium; Powders and Flakes in Iran (CIF) - 2022

The average aluminium; powders and flakes import price stood at $4,695 per ton in 2022, shrinking by -4.9% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 14%. The import price peaked at $5,072 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Bahrain ($5,793 per ton), while the price for India ($3,247 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+9.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
