Price for Aluminium; Powders and Flakes in Iran (CIF) - 2022
The average aluminium; powders and flakes import price stood at $4,695 per ton in 2022, shrinking by -4.9% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 14%. The import price peaked at $5,072 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Bahrain ($5,793 per ton), while the price for India ($3,247 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+9.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average aluminium; powders and flakes export price amounted to $8,984 per ton, reducing by -1.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average export price increased by 77% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $9,137 per ton in 2021, and then reduced slightly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Armenia ($63,000 per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($4,851 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 58% against the previous year.
