The average import price for aluminium; plates, sheets and strip, thickness exceeding 0.2mm, alloys, rectangular (including square)s stood at $3,042 per ton in 2022, rising by 10% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a slight reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average import price increased by 29%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $4,373 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
