In general, the export price continues to indicate a mild contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in July 2023 when the average export price increased by 5.3% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $2,160 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Japan.
