The average export price for aluminium; foil, (not backed), of a thickness not exceeding 0.2mm, not rolleds stood at $3,646 per ton in January 2024, reducing by -2.7% against the previous month. Overall, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 2.8% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $3,898 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to January 2024, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets.
