In September 2023, the average export price for alloy steel flat-rolled products, of a width of less than 600mms amounted to $1,719 per ton, increasing by 5.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a abrupt curtailment. Over the period under review, the import price saw a mild decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2023 an increase of 19% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $3,261 per ton, and then reduced remarkably in the following month.
