In 2022, the average import price for alkali metals; other than sodia amounted to $59,948 per ton, increasing by 116% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 164% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $70,833 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 46% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $14,954 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Germany.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Germany amounted to +0.4% per month.
Imports of Alkali Metals; Other than Sodium in France
