Price for Albumins; Albuminates and Other Albumin Derivatives in Germany (FOB) - 2023

The average export price for albumins; albuminates and other albumin derivativeses stood at $8,231 per ton in October 2023, growing by 24% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a mild shrinkage. The export price peaked at $9,945 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to October 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. In October 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Switzerland ($9,383 per ton) and Brazil ($9,208 per ton), while the average price for exports to New Zealand ($6,356 per ton) and Japan ($7,363 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+5.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, the import price continues to indicate a significant increase. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($998K per ton), while the price for Switzerland ($4,695 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Australia (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
