Photographic Paper Price in Latvia (CIF) - 2023

In September 2023, the average photographic paper import price amounted to $4.4 per square meter, increasing by 193% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a resilient increase. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $5.0 per square meter in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($12.1 per square meter), while the price for Belgium ($3.3 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.

From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Cyprus (+22.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average photographic paper export price amounted to $42 per square meter, growing by 123% against the previous year. Overall, the export price posted prominent growth. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($56 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Finland ($13 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belarus (+30.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
