Photographic Film Price in Kenya (CIF) - 2022
The average photographic film import price stood at $4.3 per square meter in 2022, which is down by -9% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the average import price increased by 44%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $4.7 per square meter in 2021, and then declined in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($8.1 per square meter), while the price for Thailand ($0.5 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+13.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average photographic film export price stood at $4 per square meter in 2022, falling by -11.7% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a moderate expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.6% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, photographic film export price increased by +57.4% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 70% against the previous year.
