Petroleum-Engine Cargo Trucks Price in France (FOB) - 2023
The average petroleum-engine cargo trucks export price stood at $77,951 per unit in August 2023, falling by -5.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated a resilient expansion from August 2022 to August 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.5% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on August 2023 figures, petroleum-engine cargo trucks export price increased by +18.3% against June 2023 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 67% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $89,802 per unit; afterwards, it flattened through to August 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($134K per unit), while the average price for exports to Poland ($15,507 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Egypt (+14.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average petroleum-engine cargo trucks import price stood at $43,420 per unit in August 2023, shrinking by -25.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in October 2022 when the average import price increased by 24% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $57,964 per unit in July 2023, and then contracted dramatically in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($145K per unit), while the price for Morocco ($26,861 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Petroleum-Engine Cargo Trucks Exports in France
In 2022, petroleum-engine cargo trucks exports from France contracted to 7.4K units, which is down by -4.4% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 95% against the previous year.
