In 2022, the average petroleum jelly import price amounted to $1,230 per ton, declining by -12.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a noticeable slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 27% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $1,812 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
