Oxygen Price in Kuwait (FOB) - 2022
The average oxygen export price stood at $0.1 per cubic meter in 2022, surging by 21% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a abrupt shrinkage. The export price peaked at $0.3 per cubic meter in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($0.2 per cubic meter), while the average price for exports to Iraq ($0.1 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saudi Arabia (-2.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Oxygen Price in Kuwait (CIF) - 2022
The average oxygen import price stood at $2.3 per cubic meter in 2022, surging by 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed a temperate increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 85% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($8.1 per cubic meter), while the price for Bahrain ($0.7 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+12.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Oxygen Exports in Kuwait
In 2022, exports of oxygen from Kuwait soared to 52M cubic meters, jumping by 48% against 2021 figures. In general, total exports indicated a resilient increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.7% over the last three-year period.
