Nucleic Acids Price in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2022

In 2022, the average nucleic acids import price amounted to $14,932 per ton, rising by 25% against the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average import price increased by 132%. The import price peaked at $20,531 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($183,869 per ton), while the price for Slovakia ($4,615 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by South Korea (+20.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+51.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Nucleic Acids Imports in the Czech Republic

Nucleic acids imports into the Czech Republic rose slightly to 3K tons in 2022, picking up by 4.1% on the previous year. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.6% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 16% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
