Nucleic Acids Price in Sweden (FOB) - 2022

The average nucleic acids export price stood at $643,702 per ton in 2022, falling by -27.8% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a prominent expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average export price increased by 85%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $897,189 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($3,680,863 per ton), while the average price for exports to Finland ($48,852 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+22.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 292% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $50M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
