The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 28%. Over the period under review, global imports hit record highs at $2.8B in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

The countries with the highest levels of non-malleable cast iron articles imports in 2022 were the United States (178K tons), Germany (134K tons) and Italy (103K tons), together reaching 33% of total import. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern.
