The average non-liquid margarine export price stood at $1,629 per ton in October 2023, declining by -5.4% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a noticeable setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 an increase of 5% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $2,065 per ton in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to October 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($1,984 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($1,054 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
