Non-Liquid Margarine Price in Kuwait (CIF) - 2021

In December 2021, the average non-liquid margarine import price amounted to $1,687 per ton, picking up by 11% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a slight reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in October 2021 when the average import price increased by 24% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $2,040 per ton in January 2021; however, from February 2021 to December 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($3,595 per ton), while the price for Malaysia ($1,163 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Algeria (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
