In January 2022, the average non-liquid margarine import price amounted to $1,932 per ton, stabilizing at the previous month. Over the period from January 2021 to January 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.1%. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2021 when the average import price increased by 10% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $1,963 per ton in October 2021; however, from November 2021 to January 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 32%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,795 per ton, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.
