Non-Electric Roasting Furnace Price in Malaysia (CIF) - 2022

The average non-electric roasting furnace import price stood at $12,271 per unit in 2022, jumping by 25% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a perceptible expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when the average import price increased by 257% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $20,280 per unit. From 2016 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($17,779 per unit), while the price for Singapore ($1,421 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Brunei Darussalam (+33.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Non-Electric Roasting Furnace Imports in Malaysia

In 2022, imports of non-electric furnaces and ovens for the roasting or melting into Malaysia skyrocketed to 612 units, picking up by 43% on the year before. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a pronounced expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 68% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 895 units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, non-electric roasting furnace imports soared to $7.5M in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a remarkable increase.
