Nitrites; Nitrates Price in Belarus (FOB) - 2022
The average nitrites; nitrates export price stood at $1,216 per ton in March 2022, growing by 29% against the previous month. In general, the export price enjoyed a strong expansion. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Russia ($1,228 per ton), while the average price for exports to Armenia ($1,013 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Dominican Republic (+21.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average nitrites; nitrates import price amounted to $647 per ton, dropping by -3.5% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a perceptible curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 7.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $979 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

For the fourth consecutive year, Belarus recorded growth in overseas shipments of nitrites; nitrateses, which increased by 9.6% to 41K tons in 2022.
