Motor Vehicle Radiator Price in Uganda (CIF) - 2022

The average motor vehicle radiator import price stood at $11 per unit in 2022, dropping by -2.6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a abrupt contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 72%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $23 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($55 per unit), while the price for Japan ($4.8 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (-1.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

Motor Vehicle Radiator Price in Uganda (FOB) - 2022

The average motor vehicle radiator export price stood at $3.1 per unit in 2022, declining by -3.5% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a abrupt slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 34%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $13 per unit. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Tanzania ($57 per unit), while the average price for exports to Burundi ($1.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Tanzania (+12.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Motor Vehicle Radiator Imports in Uganda

In 2022, the amount of radiators for motor vehicles imported into Uganda surged to 36K units, with an increase of 41% on 2021. Over the period under review, imports recorded a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 124%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 46K units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, motor vehicle radiator imports skyrocketed to $401K in 2022. In general, total imports indicated a remarkable increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.4% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports decreased by -21.3% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 53%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $509K. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Motor Vehicle Radiator Exports in Uganda

In 2022, shipments abroad of radiators for motor vehicles decreased by -13.3% to 715 units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.0% from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 36%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 825 units, and then shrank in the following year.

In value terms, motor vehicle radiator exports reduced markedly to $2.2K in 2022. Overall, total exports indicated a prominent increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.0% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +24.2% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 49% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $2.6K, and then fell sharply in the following year.
