Milk Price in the Czech Republic (FOB) - 2022
The average milk export price stood at $543 per ton in 2022, growing by 21% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a temperate increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, milk export price increased by +37.2% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the average export price increased by 29%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Romania ($714 per ton), while the average price for exports to Poland ($279 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Milk Price in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2022
The average milk import price stood at $539 per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -2.4% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 15% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $602 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($794 per ton), while the price for Slovakia ($501 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Milk Exports in the Czech Republic
In 2022, approx. 898K tons of milk were exported from the Czech Republic; picking up by 2.1% compared with 2021. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.1% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed in certain years.
