Manufacturing of Ammonium Sulphate

These crystals are then separated from the remaining liquid using a centrifuge or filter press. The liquid that is removed from the crystals, known as mother liquor, can be reused in the next batch of ammonium sulfate production.

Step 3: Drying and Sizing

The final step in the manufacturing process is to dry and size the ammonium sulfate crystals. This is typically done using a rotary dryer and a series of screens or crushers. The resulting product is a white crystalline material that is ready to be packaged and shipped to customers.

Uses of Ammonium Sulfate
