The average live fish import price stood at $8,992 per ton in July 2023, dropping by -7.2% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 an increase of 42% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $10,310 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
