Liqueurs and Cordials Price in Belarus (FOB) - 2022
In March 2022, the average liqueurs and cordials export price amounted to $3.1 per litre, growing by 36% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2021 when the average export price increased by 41% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3.5 per litre. From January 2022 to March 2022, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Latvia ($1.5 per litre), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($1.1 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Latvia (+4.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Liqueurs and Cordials Price in Belarus (CIF) - 2022
In March 2022, the average liqueurs and cordials import price amounted to $7.0 per litre, rising by 31% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $8.4 per litre in June 2021; however, from July 2021 to March 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was France ($9.8 per litre), while the price for Canada ($3.9 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+1.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Liqueurs and Cordials Exports in Belarus
In 2022, approx. 1.9M litres of liqueurs and cordialses were exported from Belarus; reducing by -4% compared with 2021 figures. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 12%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 2M litres, and then declined modestly in the following year.
In value terms, liqueurs and cordials exports fell slightly to $5.6M in 2022. Overall, exports saw a abrupt shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 13%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $7.9M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Liqueurs and Cordials Imports in Belarus
In 2022, liqueurs and cordials imports into Belarus expanded markedly to 516K litres, surging by 6.4% on the year before. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 14% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at 1M litres in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, liqueurs and cordials imports rose rapidly to $3.6M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, faced a deep reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 20% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $5.3M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
