The average liquefied butanes import price stood at $433 per ton in September 2023, with an increase of 4.8% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 13% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $676 per ton in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In general, the export price, however, faced a drastic downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 634% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $4,754 per ton. From February 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
